Menthol Monday's Shave

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Kiss My Face Cool Mint Moisture Shave Cream face lathered well with the Jayaruh #1 Badger Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Schick 66 G razor with a Personna blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The final Menthol Monday in NOVember! Seems like we just started the month yesterday doesn't it. Well, nope, not so much. My choice today is Stirling Black Ice for that wonderful black licorice scent. I used the Stirling brush to get it lathered up to the point of being absolutely ridiculous! Fantastic soap. For the hardware portion - it's the Russian Rapira razor paired with a Rapira Platinum Lux. This razor was sold with a pack of Rapira PL so it's a match from day one. Razor is cheap, thin, light, but does a good job with a great Russian blade in it with proper technique. Three passes to a BBS and only a mild alum reaction. Not bad for this razor at all. I'm calling it a success.

We have through Saturday to get ready for Decadent December! Usually the busiest month around here, though we've pushed that bar very high this year. Of course, there is still all that food to get through on Thursday. Have a great Tuesday!
