I haven't been this ambivilent about a Summer blockbuster since, since, Wolverine.

I couldn't even bring myself to watch T3---and that's after finding out about the naked lady terminator!

If a hot nekkid @55 kickin' cyborg with big bewbs can get my but to waste a free video rental, then the franchise is dead. Being the stickler that I am for such things, I can't bring myself to watch 4 without seeing 3 first. I have no desire to see either.

Until they make a movie that ends by going back to 3 minutes into the first film and showing Sarah Connor driving off uneventfully in her jeep, I'll never be satisfied that they've tied the story up properly.

Kinda sorta, but not. Because of the time travel aspects of the series, it's hard to say that it's a prequel. Timeline wise, it takes place after Terminator 3. Storyline wise, Kyle Reese hasn't time traveled yet. Make sense?

Yeah actually I get what you are saying.

I could not tell you the last time I went to the movies. My wife isn't a big movie person so when we do have time alone on a date its not to a movie.

Did DVR the SAW IV the other day, can't wait to watch that.

With the Terminator series... each sequel is also a prequel, they all build from the last movie and get you closer to the time before the terminator goes back... so the choice is yours.

yeah... my wife is getting ticked with me... but I don't want to see anything this summer... nothing has looked good for a long time.. it is all just meh...

sorry about your head... I hate headaches! (who likes them? - I think it was a bad plan...)

but this just in... just as students return from lunch...

    Woo Hoo!

:happy023 I just finished the last application assignment for the last week of course work! Woo Hoo! Now I just need to work on the reflection assignments, but the end is near! Oh yeah... the school year is almost over as well!:D I can't wait for tomorrow's extracurricular after school decompression meeting... :eatdrink004:eatdrink013

Star Trek was actually very good, much better than expected. It's the only movie that I've seen so far that I'd go back and see a second time. Other than that, there's a lot of stuff that just looks like it's barely on the threshold of mediocre.

Alright, I think I figured out one of the things that hasn't sat right with the Terminator thing. Without giving up any spoilers, the whole going to the past to kill John Connor thing just doesn't work. The fact that John Connor is even there at all in the first place to send Kyle Reese back in time shows that Skynet/Terminator fails. If the Terminator succeeded at any time in that mission at any time through the first three movies, there's no John Connor to send Kyle Reese back. That removes some of the suspense.

    Stupid time travel crap.

No idea. Just started all of a sudden.

I built a time travel machine. Let's try to test out your theory. Bring the Flux Capacitor.

Nope... did that already.. that were long years of long hours.. it was also back in the dark ages of electric shaving. I try not to think about those times too much.

Nahh.. this is just the every two year graduate course that I need to take in order to keep my license from expiring. I didn't make the best choice for course this time. I need to do a better job next time. :D

My friend, I think you've hit it on the head.

    A boost from reddit.

    Don't forget your cheatsheet!

Star Trek was very good. Transmorphers 2 should be pretty good. I'm secretly hoping GI Joe rocks...

But nothing will ever live up to the biggest blockbuster of last summer:
