    Good afternoon, guys!
    Straight Razor Shave #128
    30 Same Straight/Setup Challenge #18
Wostenholm 5/8 Full Hollow Sq Pt
    Stirling Boar Brush
    Stirling Sandalwood AS and SS
    Nivea ASB not included
The Stirling boar brush hasn't shed for awhile and I am grateful for it. This brush whipped up a luxurious, shiny, lather. Well, I presently have 20 shaves on this razor since I honed it for the very first time. She is still sharp to mow down a 33 hr beard growth on 2 passes with a minor neck touchup for a IBBS++/BBS result. There was a tiny weeper at the corner of mouth, and I did not have any irritation. Finished the shave in the usual manner. Have a great rest of the day, fellas! 20191120_202559.jpg 20191120_202559.jpg

Oh I agree. SV Soaps have to be one of the best valued luxury products I know. A 5 oz puck runs around $39 in a decorative aluminum container vs $13 for a puck of Stirling. Both my SV Felce Aromatica and Stirling R4L have been used 20 times. I have not made a dent in the SV while the the Stirling is almost half gone. The costs of using most artisan soaps are very high on a per use basis because we are paying for a lot of water. This is not the case with triple milled soaps.

SWMBO's approval is a great thing. I hope your day has went well.

Thanks, Clint! Actually, I am at 60%. I have 18 shaves out of 30 for the challenge. You mixed up the 20 total shaves on this razor since I honed it for the very first time. In other words, I had 2 shaves on this blade before I started the challenge, thus 2+18 = 20. It's ok. I have to keep my records straight (pardon the pun). Take care, my friend.

Thank you, Gentlemen. Joseph- this brush was one of the first I ever made, truth be told. I've always liked it, and it has had a few different knots in it so far.

Nice Jeff! Love seeing all the variety of gear and daily setup choices! Have fun in Vegas...

Cool shave Tommy. There’s so many more Arko products out there I didn’t know about.

    Razor: GEM 1912
    Blade: GEM stainless
Brush: Ruberset 507 (new badger knot)
    SS & AS Razorock Amici

I have the Traveling Box so this shave came from the box... well mostly. There was a GEM 1912 in the box, but I shaved with mine. I have all the razors I have used this month in a row ok my shelf. I wanted to use mine or one I am keeping.

It was a close shave. I like the SE. Variety!
