And NOW...it's time once again 4....your FRIDAY FILES:

-I just did a Black Friday order on Clubman's site.....I'll have enough body talc powder to last 5 lives. Also got a "refill" of Special Reserve Aftershave.

-One company doing a BF sale is one I forgot I signed onto!!! Silly me. They were just selling "sets", not individual products.

-Still undecided over which "can shave" to get next-another Barbasol, Gillette Foamy, or Noxema. Gillette, like Barbasol, is celebrating an anniversary this year....70th.

IMG_3125.jpg I suspect this will be my last shave of NoRepeat November, unless something comes up tomorrow I see the need to shave for. Saved my favourite scent/base combo for the last. It is quite well-documented on here how I feel about the Felce, and the MonoBilt as well. Everything performed as I expected, which is a very good thing.
I have really enjoyed the focus this month. I was able to rotate through all my razors before going back and pulling a few for a 2nd go, as well as a similar rotation with my brushes. One razor (the Schick I1) got left at the lake for the winter so it didn't get a go, but every other piece of hardware did. I did have a full No Repeat on the software, and am somewhat embarrassed to say there are still a few tubs and some samples I didn't even get to.
I have really enjoyed following along this month as always. So many positive messages yesterday that I completely concur with...we are very fortunate to have this little slice of comradery, advice, laughter and compassion tucked in the corner of the internet.
So far I have avoided a big bill this Black Friday, although I have a soap, splash and razor inbound already from last week. A busy day scheduled may be just the ticket to keep me away from sale sites today...
    Have a great day, Gentlemen.

Yes, I have a Br Crat Jr, Gary. I got it in a small town Alberta antique store a couple of years ago. I suspect it is one of the Canadian Rockets, but do not have the case with it.

    November 29

I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving and/or a wonderful Thursday. My Bride and I had a nice, relaxing day at home, and we enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Rumor has it that we have some good leftovers for the weekend. Our plans to get together with family yesterday fell through (the aunt we intended to be with went into the hospital - she's home now and doing OK. Our friend's family all had (or were exposed) to the flu, so they told us to stay home yesterday afternoon instead of stopping by for games and desert.

I managed to get a shave in with my focus gear, but I think today will be a 'no shave' day for me. One thing I've learned on my Eufros - Mike's Natural Soap side-by-side comparison this month is that I prefer Mike's. Both soaps perform wonderfully (smell nice too), but I like the buttery/creamy consistency of Mike's lather better. I'll continue this comparison for a while until both tins of soap are used up. The next comparison will be be between Mike's and Stirling sometime in the next few months. I know what I like, and I'm pretty much done chasing all the latest and greatest soaps and creams. What I may do is branch out into some different scents of brands like Mike's, Stirling, or TOBS. In addition to MdC and Tabac, you can sorta see where my "Top 5" are ending up. (MdC is the Top 5 outlier, if there is one. I have nearly two full pucks...probably a lifetime supply. It's a very good soap, but I doubt I'd repurchase it.)

All you Black Friday/Cyber Monday enablers got the best of me. I ordered two water filters for my fridge and 4 bottles of Thayers Witch Hazel!!! ;) I perused all the on-line shaving vendors, filled and emptied shopping carts, and eventually decided I don't want or need anything right now. I have not ruled out a Feather DX kamisori style razor, and I have the "Max Headroom Approved" vendor on my eBay watch list.

I hope you all have a fantastic Friday!
