Terrific set up, Andrew! I'm glad to hear you guys had a great Thanksgiving. It looks like Logan has things under control.

Congrats on the wonderful news about your third son! Sounds like we'll have visits from your boys on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday! Tuesday and Thursday are currently reserved for kids # 4 and # 5!

the scents on mine have somewhat disappeared, but are detectable faintly.i keep them in old spice mugs, covered but not sealed..great soaps regardless and miles above our domestic store brands..i can always add a little of the a/s.

I get it, but at my point in life, I try to find some folk who appear to like the same tools and methods as me! I found a young man, Ruds, who has a YT channel, and have found that he and I tend to generally be in agreement. So when he gives a strong thumbs up on a razor, I know I’ll like it. My Vector, my Silversmith and my SS Lupo were purchased based on his evaluation. I’ve bought a number of soaps as well based on the ‘Ruds’ criterion.
    All the best,

    Jeff

    Thanks Jason.

I just got word that my shipment of the new Supply blades are on the way. If they prove out, I'll be ordering one of the Supply alloy razors as a Christmas gift for my brother. There will be a new test up and coming.

And FWIW, there are only a few fellas here that actually have 140 acres of shave gear. The rest of us are a little shy.

    Good evening, gentlemen!
    Straight Razor Shave #130
    30 Same Straight Razor/Setup Challenge #20
Wostenholm 5/8 Full Hollow Sq Pt
    Stirling Boar Brush
    Stirling Sandalwood SS and AS
    Nivea ASB
Well, this is my last shave for this month. I wanted to make it a great one! Face-lathered the Stirling Sandalwood soap to a nice shiny, luxurious and even texture. Unfortunately, the brush shed another hair. I think that I add to much pressure on this brush so that it loses a bristle every now and then. I am a little dismayed because I like the brush and it lathers very well. On a 34 hour stubble, I got an IBSS++ on 2 passes and without any touchups. I didn't get any irritation or any wounds. Finished the shave in my usual manner. Under my old grading system, I would give it a 98. I am 2/3 complete with this challenge. I only have 10 shaves left to complete this 30 consecutive straight razor shaves using the same straight. Have a great evening, guys! 20191120_202559.jpg 20191120_202559.jpg
