I opened December the way I closed November. The Barbasol is getting down to the bottom, but I think I can still get 3 shaves from it. The Stephan Bay Rum A.S. works best when it's cold out. Like Clubman, I wouldn't use it in the summer, as I'd be"sweating Stephan".

Chiseled Face Cryogen both soap and AS. Nothing colder in the shaving world! You’ll feel like you’re being gassed by menthol fumes!

Thanks, Doug! Jeff Mudrick introduced me to these razors! I now have all three models, but this model 1.0 is my favorite!

I've actually tried to find it, but seems like it's impossible to get in this part of the world.

Thanks, Joe! Hard to believe that a razor this good never made it to the big time!

    Hello Sunday!
    Hope your day goes great!
Thanksgiving was spent in the deep woods, uh, well, not really. The family spent the last 3 days at a cabin "in the woods". Well OK, if I lived in the city, or even a small town, I could consider it "in the woods". The cell sevice was sparse at best, no WiFi either. I guess it was kinda far out in the country. But good time was had for all!

Hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving!!

At the cabin there was running well water, around those parts there's lots of iron and sulfur in it. For those who know about this, no need to explaine, for the others, it smells like rotten eggs. Yea, stinky at best. Used a lot of bottled water.
Had my dopp kit and got a few wonderful shaves anyway.

Didn't take any pictures there, one bathroom shared by all, time was at a premium, but above was the equipment. That's a Russian frankin razor that's great for travle.

Today was a good day to change a bit.
My R41 and a Feather blade seems to have done the trick. Never a comfy shave from this blade holder, always a really close shave.

The Razorock XXX has a nice scent, not to overpowering, yet still strong enough to last a while. 2 passes and a clean up, I'm quite smooth.
Wish this razor was a tad bit kinder, the shave is close as any I have.
    Till Monday...
    Enjoy

I am still currently in japan. As far as plan goes. I am working on stropping, I have no hones so no way to go that route. And I will post up a picture of my shave in the morning with what I am using and an update.

I think the cold feel is a chemical thing rather than an actual temperature.

Besides, there is no war to keep refrigerated.

Oh, so it will stay cold due to the "law of chemistry"?

Great shave, Terry! The R41 delivers a very close shave, but I agree, not a particularly comfortable one!
