A while ago, @Jrdelgado sent me pics of his Standard Combination case to see if I could do anything with it. As I like a challenge, I said why not. The first three pics are of it as sent to me.......... After looking at pics from @mr-razor's site for reference, first pic below, I came up with a couple of ideas on how to work on it, including splicing new cardboard onto the good parts. Well, it could've worked, I actually started that way, but would take a long time and patience doing it. So I came up with the idea of using new cardboard for the one piece bottom and flap. Of course the interior linings were kept, along with the thick cardboard for the sides. Everything else is new, the cardboard flap, leather-like material for the exterior and a snap that closely resembles the original in color and size. Excuse the glare, and dust, in certain areas as I wanted to use flash so the detail can be seen, especially the interior. In case you're wondering, the right angle ruler is used to keep the flap open for the pic and I only have one Gillette brass soap/brush container.......... Edit: Better pic of it's finish..........
