I may be the #1 Tsuka fan. Rod introduced it as a limited promotional offering at a couple of events this past summer. For The Shave Den it was known as Blood on Steel 2019.

And yes, I have been found quilty of hoarding it.

    20190710_130055-1.jpeg

It is a dupe of Hanae Mori.

My senses tell me; a fresh citrus start, followed by a slightly earthy/woody type smell that fades leaving long lasting whiffs of light/fresh/clean/powdery sensations sometimes till the next day.

I can't say I specifically pick up chocolate or vanilla. I find it a complex gentle blend. I'm not a Gentleman fan, but I do Iove Tsuka.

The current sale pricing has value. I think I saw samples of the EdT for a couple of bucks if you are on the fence. But, last time I asked, Rod had no plans to make it a regular in the lineup.

I just looked, all the Tsuka products are still available. On sale prices.

Shave soap, bath soap, aftershave splash, EdT ful size and sample size.

If you do not suffer from FOMO (fear if missing out) you could always hope for Black Friday 2020.

:angry032:.... :rolleyes005:... Not allowed till they are gone.

    timabababaluka No exceptions. Except.....

That sounds like a wonderful scent progression, and because my wife merely tolerates SG (what man aims to simply be tolerated by his wife), I really want to fill that vacancy with something that I like at least as much. Unfortunately, I'd like to replace it with something that I know I can get at least seasonally. I've already been burned by the Glastonbury hiatus--don't know if muh heart can take much more.

Thanks for checking. I’ll withdraw my :angry032: for now. I’ve got a large order already coming, so I need to do some strategizing before considering another order before the first ones arrived.

    Stay tuned :sport026:

Been a while since I went with Stirling Spice. I really do like Rod's take on Old Spice. I did get a slight reaction from the soap though. That hasn't happened before. Really hope it was just a one off :(

Piacenza is popular, and hard to go wrong with.

    I like sooo many.

You could get samples for wife testing

The day after I placed my Black Friday order, family was here and fragrances came up.

I remarked that I was surprised to find myself wearing scents considered unisex.

I brought out Mountain Man (a dupe of Creed Silver Mountain Water) which all the estrogen units liked but said they probably wouldn't use.

When they splashed on Tuscany, I instantly found Christmas gifts to get.

A good trick is to buy something for your gal.

Is Tsuka similar to either Tuscany or Piacenza? I read the profile of Hanae Mori, and am trying to “ballpark” the scent.

Scents are SO personal for both the wearer and the audience that blind buys are always a little risky. Then throw in person body chemistry and it’s a total crap shoot.............or slot machine for anyone offended by dice. :D

I'm glad I'm off the hook as being the only one who makes a "clink-clank" sound trying to load soap from a mug.

Y'know, Rise Super Foam is considered uni....it wasn't that way with the Original Rise (back in the 1950's, 60's+beyond until it was killed). For one of the ads(for the Original), the first word out of the man's mouth is "MEN"
