1. Thanks for checking. I’ll withdraw my :angry032: for now. I’ve got a large order already coming, so I need to do some strategizing before considering another order before the first ones arrived.

    Stay tuned :sport026:
  2. Been a while since I went with Stirling Spice. I really do like Rod's take on Old Spice. I did get a slight reaction from the soap though. That hasn't happened before. Really hope it was just a one off :(

  3. Piacenza is popular, and hard to go wrong with.

    I like sooo many.

You could get samples for wife testing
  4. The day after I placed my Black Friday order, family was here and fragrances came up.

I remarked that I was surprised to find myself wearing scents considered unisex.

I brought out Mountain Man (a dupe of Creed Silver Mountain Water) which all the estrogen units liked but said they probably wouldn't use.

When they splashed on Tuscany, I instantly found Christmas gifts to get.

A good trick is to buy something for your gal.
  5. Is Tsuka similar to either Tuscany or Piacenza? I read the profile of Hanae Mori, and am trying to “ballpark” the scent.

Scents are SO personal for both the wearer and the audience that blind buys are always a little risky. Then throw in person body chemistry and it’s a total crap shoot.............or slot machine for anyone offended by dice. :D
  6. Three classy shave "notes"(OH I CAN'T BELIEVE I SAID THAT, lol).
  7. My reaction is from the aftershave....working on trying to cut it down.
  8. I'm glad I'm off the hook as being the only one who makes a "clink-clank" sound trying to load soap from a mug.

  9. Y'know, Rise Super Foam is considered uni....it wasn't that way with the Original Rise (back in the 1950's, 60's+beyond until it was killed). For one of the ads(for the Original), the first word out of the man's mouth is "MEN"
  10. I get so bummed when I get reactions form stuff I REALLY like :(
  11. ahahaha! It's so annoying to me lol
  12. I do too....that's why I'm making it a project to improve the feel of Spice A.S. on me.
  13. I believe I see a pattern to your Stoylin of choice here.
  14. Remember John, it is eligible for Stoylin 2021 Tony Awards.
  15. Closer to Piacenza, but I think the closest in my inventory is Deep Blue Sea.

It is totally unique though. Other stuff I like is Sandpiper, Stirling for Him, Tuscany, Piacenza, Dunshire, Deep Blue Sea, Island Man, Mountain Man, and Brut

Wish I could ballpark it better.
  16. ^ Deep Blue Sea is a great one for sure that doesn't seem to get talked about much

Sandpiper, Noir, and Baker Street are some of my other faves, though I think Baker Street irritates my face. Dunshire I strongly disliked.

but Varen is the only one I own a full size bottle of :D

  17. As I said in a previous post, "some Stoylins" will be allowed to be used by me for 3 straight days. I'm trying to cut back on using the same products to 2 days. I find that after 2, I look forward to a new one. But as for now Sandpiper and Spice make the trifecta list.
  18. Well things worked out................all it took was adding things to my cart!

I ordered doubles of Tsuka soap and AS since they’re basically half size. I did the same with Deton-8 (I like Spicebomb). I rounded things off with a tub of Vanilla Sandalwood and 2oz of D- 503 splash.

    The wait begins. :)
  19. That is exactly what I do (about 20 so far), and she likes many, but hasn't encountered that one. I'll find it if it kills me, though (and it just might, because I think The Missus is getting tired of me waving puck after puck under her nose saying, "What do you think about this one?")

Same here! And (to steal a phrase from my oldest daughter) Baker Street is my jam. :(

I think it's the Juniper that's causing the negative reaction in my case. One way or the other, I can usually get away with using the soap, but if I've had anything less than a perfect shave, the AS is going to burn in a not-so-good way. I've found that if I've had a moderately decent shave, and apply my Glacial Unscented balm first, I can usually get away with using the splash.

Which is a good thing, because I refuse to give up Baker Street.
