    Nivea ASB not pictured
I usually do not shave a 24 hr stubble, but I need to look my best this evening because I am attending a friend's wake. He was sick with lung cancer so it wasn't unexpected. Anyway let me get back to the shave. Made a sloppy, wet lather with the Stirling brush. It still sheds, but what can you do. Did 2 passes and got a very nice IBSS++ without any self-inflicted wounds or irritation. Slapped on a generous amount of the Sandalwood aftershave with the Nivea ASB to finish the shave. 23 shaves completed, 7 more to go and I will be finished with this challenge. Have a nice evening, guys! 20191120_202559.jpg 20191120_202559.jpg

Thank you, Jim! It is sad, but I know he is in glory walking the streets of gold. He had a kidney transplant 15 yrs ago and said if I gain another 15, then I will be happy. He was an elder in the Lutheran church and he was ready to go. He left a wife of under 10 yrs and other family members and many friends. He truly was a man of faith and a very nice guy.

=I went too crazy on GivingTueday today. That settles it....most of my shave purchases from now until Bill Neumann time will be on Amazon-I can "put it on my card". Two exceptions would be the 2020 Stoylin Tony champ and runner-up. I'll deal directly with Doc Ezlovan for those.

Considering I went in nearly unprepared and mostly knowledgeable, amazed that I didn't flay any strips of the corners, choosing the Futur clone might have been one of my better decisions. I knew the electric hair clippers didn't get as close as a shave, but thought the XXL blade gap might help move shorn stubble out of the way. Use my example of fool hardy ignorance as a blinding light to get a tan on your manliness. I hear Josh Brolin scored a sunburn on his taint so be careful.

SOTD 12032019 2nd head shave.gif Through trades I've acquired some interesting gear. Thanks to Joseph @Primotenore for the soap & AS, Andrew @Linuxguile for the brush, Jack @Sparrow for the bowl, Jeff @jgreenepa for the blades, John @John Ruschmeyer for the razor, and from The Box the soothing post shave balm. Neal @NCoxSTL judged me courageous for my choice of DE last shave. Though this events blade holder looks fearsome it's shaves quite calmly. When one of the grand daughters was applying AS & balm she noted only four spots of blood on my head. The WK soap gives a slick lather though I had to coax it out of the fat badger knot. Face shaved with the same gear and enjoyed the barbershop scent twice. My face is smooth, and I'm figuring out how to handle a razor around my head. Still places where I haven't maintained a correct angle but I'm enjoying the learning process.
    Good Shaves Y'all!
