Thanks Jim! Here is a 3 pass shave using the Wholly Kaw - Fougère Mania, along with the aluminum ATT Calypso that @Hembree has. Video is from West Coast Shaving - The Daily Shave. Excellent representation of how the Wholly Kaw Siero base creates an awesome slick lather. A much better scent description than mine, I'm such a scent newb, hadn't heard of Neroli til this video. All the other thoughts mirror mine on the first use.

If Wholly Kaw does a release of his Fougère Bouquet or La Fougère Parfaite in the Siero base, I'll snap it up in a heartbeat. Love those two aromas, and this base is pretty amazing to me.

One thing I must point out....I bought from the Wholly Kaw Black Friday sale directly (@15% off). Purchased early Saturday morning. It was shipped same day, received yesterday. Inside was a hand written note, and a small treat (an individually wrapped cookie). Fabulous customer service!

Thanks for sharing the link, Blair. I've never ordered directly from Wk. Sounds like great customer service.

    Happy TSD anniversary.

The great folks here are always glad to help wayward shavers save big bucks over the cost of the wicked cartridges.

Hope you were not struck by the unpleasant side effect of actually enjoying your shave.

Wonderful shave Rick! I never found that brush to be a lather hog, though I tend to load quite heavily.
Yep, going to have to use Iced Pineapple this month for sure!
I don't how how you manage such stunning photos, Jim!
The TNNSER 3D is quite the fun little razor. Still hoping you start feeling better ASAP
Awesome photo, Perry! Congrats on finishing something off! I'm afraid I'm a long way from finishing anything soon.
Gorgeous photo Clint! Sorry to hear about the nick, we all have to pay the Piper every once in a while.
Glad that worked out better for you, Danny! A synthetic can make a lather out a few swirls on the soap puck. It takes a little more soap for a natural hair brush.
    Beautiful shot Blair!

    Very nice New Standard, Jeff!
Awesome photo and great performance, Joseph!
    Very nice Evan!

I picked up a cased Black Beauty in fantastic condition. ALMOST looks unused. I believe it is a '69. It came with two tucks of Waltham blades (spotlessly clean, but absolute garbage to shave with, tuggy and dull). I HAD to give one a try, but gave up on it quickly. I swapped it out for a Zorrik blade (thanks, @Linuxguile for introducing me to them - I will be ordering some) and had a super easy shave. I believe this will be my setup for the month.[IMG][IMG][IMG]

I couldn't find the more proper thread for this, so I'll just do it here: A few hours ago I had a scary fall, resulting in banged-up kneecaps. I did hit my head on the stair area, but there's no major pain there. To make a long story short, this happened right at the entrance to my doctor's office, and they arranged a "walk-in" appointment, just to be checked over. Right now I have some gauze pads over each kneecap. I'm referred for a catscan(the appointment has yet to be made), and the interesting recommendation was that I get some P.T. for balance. My new neurologist recommended the same thing when I saw her a week or so ago. It was nice that "witnesses" helped me to my feet-I doubt I could have stood up on my own. I'm a little more relaxed now, but it leaves me with a lot to think about regarding my physical health(maybe mental, too).

So sorry to hear about your fall, Paul. Fortunately you were at a place with help and medical assistance. Hope all goes well with the cat scan and PT.

Thank you Jim. Yes, I was lucky in that regard. I was going to an appointment and I forgot which bldg. I needed to be in-it was in the next bldg. over, not where my doctor's office is. I made it through my scheduled appointment, then headed right back to the other bldg.to see if I could be looked at.

It's interesting that one of the reviewers of a shave soap for The Soap Exchange called the company "a Stoylin rip-off". I've always wondered what he meant by it. (note- he didn't say "Stoylin" :).
