    December 8th
    Razor: Occam's DE SB
    Blade: Kai Stainless (3)
    Brush: Maseto 30mm Finest
    Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated
    Soap: A&E Barbiere Sofisticato
    PAA Galactic witch hazel
    PAA unscented Star Jelly
    AS: A&E Barbiere Sofisticato

    Good morning!

Fantastic shave to start the day! Four passes for near BBS. Yup, you read that right, a fourth pass. I added an extra XTG pass in the opposite direction. I didn't really end with an improved final result but I did enjoy the extra time with some wonderful products.

Shave number nine with the Occam's DE. Three with each baseplate and each received a fresh Kai blade for its three shave run. Nine wonderful shaves! Very happy to have added this razor to the collection.

I'll need to decide my weeks worth of shaves today. Quite frankly I'm at a loss. I think I'll go stare at my razor collection and see what jumps out at me. That's usually how I pick my soaps. I'll figure something out.

    Have a great day! [IMG]

    Good Sunday morning to Everyone!
    Hope your day goes great!
Decided to spice up the morning shave.
Got the Stirling and Old Spice out.
Also found a DE head that I bought a while ago, forgot I had it. Took about 3 weeks to get it here, from China, all of $4.95 total. I have a PAA DOC but it's not on par with the razors I like, to mild. I looked at the handles from some other razors and decided to use one from my Razorock DE-1. Loaded a Feather (new) blade and went to work. Not expecting much the first pass was OK. Kinda mild, like a super speed but easier to get the angle for maximum cutting. The second pass was fine, the super speed analogy is where it's at. I'm clean, I'm smooth, but it takes work to get there. The head shave was about the same, two passes and a clean up sorta did the job. But there were places that is extremely hard to shave smooth, that it took a little extra work.

Not as close and smooth as yesterday's Open Comb Micromatic, but still quite acceptable. Not getting another one of these heads, to mild.
Put the new Old Spice in the old-Old Spice bottles after an alcohol soak and cleaning, that worked fine.
Not a big fan of Old Spice, but it's a great change when I feel the need.

    Everyone
    Enjoy

Fabulous photo and lineup Jim. I have used my Occam's razor 6 times with the two hybrid plates. I will use the SB the next time I break it out.

Thanks, Bill! A few of the 30DC members have them and they are truly nice-looking brushes. However, I was only interested in the C-Mon butterscotch/cream handle because it goes with my two C--Mon razors' yellow scales.

    Shave Soap & Aftershave

I didn't feel well yesterday. I am happy to say that I feel much better today. The big Thater was a joy face lathering again today. The Eleven DFS soap smells very nice, but I just wish it had a stronger scent. Sticking with the RA today but changed the blade to a 7 O'clock yellow. I really couldn't tell the difference in smoothness between the Yellow and the Feather. Three passes followed by touch ups along my jaw line and buffing my neck managed to let the little guy escape. Somehow I missed a spot on my lower right neck. The matching aftershave ramped up the scent strength. I am off to visit my Mom today. I plan on taking her out to lunch and take her shopping. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.

    Yes that is very true!
But some have issue's with razors that shave well. For YOU, this razor may make a great blade holder!

I think he only has a couple of them left. I don't think he is ordering any more C-Mon replicas. However, he has other brushes that are also knockouts! In case you want to browse the site, google Heritage Collection shaving brushes.
