Monday DECember 9 Up today is a razor I'm using for the first time, a 1921 Gillette Bostonian. Definitely a DECadent shave. Bowl/Scuttle - GP12 Soap - MWF Brush - Rubberset 400-3 Blade - Feather HI SS (2) Razor - Gillette Bostonian 1921 Post Shave - OSMA Pierre alum, Pinaud Lilac Vegetal A/S Shave rating 5 of 5 This razor has been sitting in its case for a while unused. Not sure why I didn't break it out for OCtober, well here it is. Paired with an almost new Feather blade and this is, surprisingly, a pretty aggressive shave. It gave me a 2 pass (WTG, XTG) BBS shave with 1 small weeper and a small amount of neck irritation. The MWF provided a nice thick, slick, lather as usual for the shave. The Rubberset 400 is a little floppy and a little like using a paint brush but I like using it once in a while. The alum was vocal on both sides of my neck. Finished up with the Veg! Happy DECember and great shaves everyone. - Ken
