    Thanks, Perry!

The cooling effect last much longer than that of menthol. It's been over two hours since my shave and my face still feels chilled.

The scent of Terror is just ok in my opinion. Not one that will get replaced when it's gone.

Thanks, Jim! That's what I've heard - incredible cooling sensation and duration, but soap scent not very good.

Great shave, Clint! Beautiful staged image, as usual! You wouldn’t happen to be a marketer by any chance?

I ordered some synthetic cooling agent to try out. I'll let you know how it goes.

    SOTD:
Some great shaves over the last week, the Supermax blade is still going strong, but starting to lose sharpness. I'll have to use it with my slicker soaps for its last few shaves, looking at retiring it at around the 15 mark so far.

Fantastic shaves from the fatip piccolo, all these shaves were two pass shaves, i only need two passes with super agressive razors.

    Shave 1:
    Razor: fatip piccolo
    Brush: Omega 49
    Blade: supermax blue diamond (8)
    Soap: Arko shave stick
    Aftershave: Old spice whitewater

    Shave 2:
    Razor: fatip piccolo
    Brush: Wilkinson sword classic shave
    Blade: supermax blue diamond (9)
    Soap: Wilkinson sword
    Aftershave: Ego Bahama mist

    Shave 3:
    Razor: fatip piccolo
    Brush: Wilkinson sword classic shave
    Blade: supermax blue diamond (10)
    Soap: bundubeard Coffee
    Aftershave: Status for men[IMG][IMG][IMG]

Great shaves, Matt, with my favorite Fatip! I prefer it over the Grande. It’s heftier!

Thanks, Jeff! Quite simple setup actually, just a curtain going over a bass amp, cheap-ish tripod and a dslr. Maybe i should put more effort to editing the pics, as i was too lazy to straighten it properly. :D

Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements - Doppelgänger Black Label SS & AS/C - Homage to Sauvage
Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements - PS Tube 2.0, ASB Star Jelly
Heritage Collection Klenzo - HMW Badger 'gel' tips
Drew Dick 7/8 Damascus Steel - Green Kirinite

'Frigga'....the smooth silky shaver. Quiet, all business, each swipe pure beard reduction at it's finest. Matching HC 'Klenzo' face lathered a fragrant, slick & luscious lather that this neon green beauty deftly removed through 2.5 passes. DFS+ with no issues. WTG/XTG, slightly forward/center stroke buffing to clean lower right neck & jawline.

Still not sold or in love with the HMW 'gel' tips in the Klenzo. While I've gotten past the 'lather hog' label ever so slightly, the face feel while lathering is bland, mushy oatmeal. No brush depth behind it. Knot replacement perilously imminent.

Finished with PAA's ASB option called Star Jelly (unscented version, slightly mentholated), then PAA's matching after shave & cologne, a blend that mimics Sauvage. Smooth and smelling great for a Monday.

Hope it is a great one for all!
