    Omega 10049 Boar Brush
Salsa Bowl / Timeless Lathering Bowl Scuttle
    Palmolive Sensitive Cream
    Rockwell 6S - Plate 6
    Voskhod Blade
    Nivea Post Balm
    Pinaud Clubman Classic

This morning I recreated my first shave when I joined this 30DC. When I jumped on the 30DC I posted the following.

"1 brush, 1 soap, 1 brand of blades, 1 razor, 30 Days" ---- Can I join the party?

Omega boar brush, Palmolive Sensitive Shaving Cream, Voskhod blades & Rockwell 6S

    Nov. 30, 2018”

I was welcomed with opened arms and the encouragement was just amazing during that first month. I went back and read a lot of the post from that first month and it was great going through those memories. I was being watched by the Cartel and even had a few visits from Natalia. We are not even going to talk about the enabling.

The bottom picture is the first picture I posted on the 30DC.

The shave this morning was a lot easier than the first time around. Rockwell plate 6, Gillettes at 9 and Feathers are not scary anymore and have become the norm now.

I really appreciate the time that I have spent with everyone. My family has seen a lot of changes this year but this band of merry gentlemen has made it a lot easier to get through those times and for that I am thankful.

Thanks guys and maybe we can get this shaving thing figured out next year. :D

Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements - Atmotic SS & AS/C
Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements - PS Tube 2.0, ASB Star Jelly
    Zenith 2 Band Badger
    Feather Pro
    Feather AC DX (Kamisori style)

2 pass, slight touch up on lower right neck. DFS+ result today. Used the lightest of touch with the DX loaded with a new blade...and surprised myself. Usually I'm adding styptic gel or pencil to the list when using a new Feather Pro and the DX handle. Not today. :git:

PAA's Atmotic....another 30DC enabled purchase...first a couple $1 samples, wifey approves, Cyber Monday sale for the purchase. Yay. Awesome super slick goodness for the Feather combo. Finished off with PAA's Star Jelly & Atmotic AS/C. Wonderful face feel and fragrance!

Been researching a knot replacement for the HC gel tip option used yesterday....thinking through what I prefer. Found the stiffest 2 band badger in my den for a test. Zenith appears to mount their badger knots with less loft than most. Combined bowl and face lathering with a soap base I'm familiar with. This knot has a great face feel, slightly, ever so slightly scritchy, but plenty of backbone. No problem at all with lather hogging. So....if it's going to be a badger for the Klenzo, it's gotta be a close match to this one.

74 degrees yesterday...34 (with a feels like 29) this morning. Um. Wow. Someone turn the heater back on....

Hope everyone has a Terrific Tuesday!

A pretty excellent shave this morning, returning to the Burma Shave cake soap. I had the smaller Stoylin li'l brudder brush this time, and it worked better at "negotiating" the mug. In fact, it brought out suds from the B. Shave that I didn't see yesterday. Perhaps it means future shaves with the cake will be easier to accomplish. Stayed with the Whiskey Woods for the aftershave. I said the overall shave was "pretty" excellent...a minor weeper along the jaw prevented it from being "very" excellent. By the way, I found a travel-size Gillette Foamy regular last night-I think my dop-kit tumbled over and opened itself up lol. I might as well work with that one for a while, to finish it off.(when I'm not using artisan soaps or the Burma Shave)...looks to have a few shaves remaining. Besides, I have no near-future travel plans.
