10 December 2019 Soap: RazoRock for New York Brush: Omega 10086 boar Razor: RazoRock German 37 Slant Blade: Astra SP (3) Aftershave: RazoRock for New York Original plan was to take advantage of Italian Barber's moving & Cyber Monday sale to stock up on some soaps and AS splashes I hadn't tried and old favorites that were running low. As I'm letting my beard grow out, the plan was to wait until the Spring clean up (shave off) before using my new stash. Well, that plan evaporated when the UPS truck pulled up yesterday. I opened the box and began taking in the scents of my soaps & splashes. I'm still trimming my cheeks & neck most days so I figured I'd just dive in and give 'em a try. Bonus.....wife likes todays scent! BTW, 3 1/2 months of growth to date. Gonna have to get some beard balm to tame these unruly whiskers!
Thanks my friend! The weather here is also going to get a lot colder. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Envoy with fresh Suneko blade. Fantastic shave. I had two small gripes when I picked up the razor: the balance point on the razor is rather further south than traditional, likely fitting Matt's hands better than mine, and the handle knurling felt a bit rough. In practice however, neither of these is particularly noticeable during the shave, indeed the heavy handle contributes to a feeling of solidity which is quite impressive. I like the Envoy more than expected. If you think you need a more aggressive razor work on your technique . Happy camper. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
