Thank you, Jim! We're checking out the Mayo campus today. Our appointments begin tomorrow, although we've made some headway on a few important things today. For example, we found the place that serves Turtle Mochas with white chocolate.

Man oh man, the gloves, scarves, and hats came out immediately once we got here. It is beyond cold, but everyone couldn't be nicer and more helpful. It's quite humbling when you walk in the main entrance and see everyone here.

 

Nothing quite like a nice good cup of coffee on a cold day.

We watched a Mayo documentary yesterday, and the narrator credited one of the early doctors with the well-thought-out design of the Mayo campus. I'll never forget the quote... "He was a doctor, but more importantly, he was an engineer." I backed up the video and watched that part twice.

We flew from Chicago to Rochester, Paul. The landscape picked up a lot of snow in between those two places. I found out that our flight attendant was a vegan, and I kept asking her when she'd be serving our cheeseburgers. When I saw I was getting nowhere, I settled for pretzels and a stroop waffle. We laughed the whole way up here...as we could have gone to Mayo in AZ or FL.
