    I had a 'bit of a senior moment' last night. Everything was organised for today's shave and post. It was only when I awakened this morning that I realised that today is NOT Williams Wednesday. I just stayed with the old school theme.

    Going for a straight razor shave today.

    Bowl/Scuttle - GP12
    Soap - Tabac
    Brush - Alpha Outlaw Titanium
    Strop - Heirloom/Tony Miller Spanish Bridal
    Blade - GEM SE SS (2)
    Razor1 - RigaRazor Mappin Lancet replica
    Razor2 - TNNSER 3D
    Post Shave - OSMA Pierre alum, Clubman Whiskey Woods A/S

    One of my favorite straight razors is the Mappin Lancet Edge razor. It took me a long time to find one and an even longer time to find one in good condition. While I was looking, I decided to ask Sergej from RigaRazor to make me a replica. Sergej did a beautiful job. This is a big 9/8 razor. Did my first pass WTG with the RigaRazor Lancet. Did my second pass XTG with my TNNSER 3D and the result was a nice BBS shave. I re-opened 1 weeper with the RigaRazor and re-opened another with the TNNSER 3D (disappointing). The Tabac lather was nice and thick but seemed a little dry. The Alpha Outlaw brush is one of my favorites. The alum was vocal on both sides of my neck. Finished up with the Whiskey Woods - great scent!

    Surprisingly good and very efficient feeling shave with the Otto Kampfe razor. Downside is the weight is biased towards the handle and no knurling to help with grip. But, a couple of swipes on the alum block prevented any slippage from my hands. I enjoyed the shave very much. Great shaves to all and a wonderful evening as well....​

    Many reviewers say the same thing about Clubman that you said about Polar Ice. I see there are SOME similarities.

    The best shave 'cream' I own (reminder that PAA CK6 is my favorite soap), and earlier in the week my 2nd fave cream, Cyril R. Salter, was used, making this week some amazing shaves (yeah, the Klar soap on Tuesday is some good stuff too). Heck, I like nearly all of my soaps and creams. The 2015'ish era of Catie's Bubbles cream is some kind of special stuff and the Le Piment de La Vie scent is amazing. Wednesday's shave will be yet another one I've been looking forward to.

    I think the WSP Mahogany scent is underrated in the shave soap world.
