First time with the flair and worked great with the Astra blade so smooth

I am finding myself heading that way....more and more.Artisans will come and go....but a lot of the traditional soaps have been around for years. They may not smell as good .....but they work

 

I can certainly vouch for the Burma Shave cake soap.

 

i 'm not a real fan of tradition soaps per se..ie williams/colgate/vintage old spice/arco..i have and use them and have quite a few artisan products as well.when i feel the need to use something that just plain works well and has good post shave qualities,easy availability and inexpensive i reach for the proraso cream in a tube,or pacific shave co,or even the gillette pure cream.no fuss no muss,and they blend with any cologne /aftershave for the most part..i like simple.most of my artisan purchases were for the scents offered and "keeping up with the jone's "type purchases.done with chasing the dragon..

Sticking with the ivories. This one is relatively new in my den but clearly an outstanding performer. Easy and no drama. Nothing but face-rubbing goodness.
