    Decadent December!!!

    December 11

Razor - Gillette New SC Deluxe
    Blade - [IMG] (3)
    Soap - Stirling Ozark Mountain
    Brush - Stirling Finest Badger
    Post - Alum

Boy did this day ever get away. Spent it with my wife just hanging out, some lunch, dinner, you know the drill. Just a relaxing day to enjoy the time. Finally remembered I should probably shave so here we go. Third day on the SC Deluxe and Sharp Star and two days growth to deal with. Ozark Mountain for that incredible scent and lather and the Stirling Finest Badger brush to make it happen. This brush has to be the best quality for the price anywhere. Definitely feels and works like a much more expensive brush. Three full passes to a BBS with no alum feedback and a fantastic way to finish the day in decadence! Thursday is closing in. Make it a great one!

Thank you gentlemen for the kinds words. If I missed anyone, apologies!

Thanks for the feedback Clint. Lavender may just be that way....about noon, just for kicks, I did a couple of sprays 'refresher' with AoS's Green Lavender cologne. 2 hours later.....nada. Could be that it's also because this version from AoS is described as a citrus lavender....and citrus aromas usually have the same quick aroma dissipation.

    Good morning, gents!

Today i used the Nivea cream again. And i'll have to say that i like the stuff. Fairly inexpensive and it works well. The blade felt a bit dull, but i managed to get decent shave anyways.

    Have a great day!

    E. The screen of the phone is crap, the photo didn't look nearly as gray on it. Oh well. Still a photo.

Nice setup and shave Daniel! Phone screens are usually lousy with details like contrast and color saturation. Still a nice image!

Very nice and cool razor Gary! Looks like a great shaver. Love the red color pop!

Good Thursday morning to all the crazy shavers, and the sain ones too, I'm certain there's at least one out there.
Got a chance to shave with what the seller said was a french razor, well he is in France anyway. Regardless, it looked so different my RAD overtook me and I hit the buy button. Well, enough of that, to the real important stuff.
Looking at it with the blade installed you would think it's a real brush hog, able to mow down the toughest bead. It has a gap between the safety bar bigger than any razor I own, you could stick a butter knife in there. So my hopes were high!
A new Personna GEM blade and....
The first pass was, mild, really soft. Looking, making sure I had the blade loaded against all the stops, I continued.
After the second pass I realized I had a, SE super speed, gental as a kitten. 3rd clean up pass did the best it could. The gord is the same. I have a good "go to work" shave, that's about it.
    Everthing else worked as expected.

I'm ok clean, and ready to go.
    Everyone
    Enjoy!
