Jim, I got them home and opened them up and I really liked all of them. The big test was when the wife got her sniffer out. All three met her approval and she is picky. Now I know some of y'all are thinking about the Clubman.....she likes that to but I wear it to work most of the time and break something out different when we are together. ;)

I wish I could describe the scents to you but I'm not the good with scent
description and I tried to find information on the base notes and could not.

Yes, I believe they were always $20, but that was originally for the 7oz tubs. He kept that price when he went to a smaller tub. The Splashes were about the same price, iirc. A quality product as well.
I thought they were a one man operation before, and this newer name who has posted is unfamiliar to me.

    Inspired attempt at Decadence

    Cremo Original SC
    The King badger by @Vlasta
    Suribachi & warm water
    Yaqi DOC on Maggard #18
    Suneko Super SS Platinum
    Nivea Post Shave Balm
    Wholly Kaw Project Leather AS
SOTD 12122019.gif Read a number of posts in other threads and took my inspiration to the little used products storage where a tube of Cremo (Thanks @jgreenepa) was hiding. I've used it as an additive to boost slickness in lackluster soaps. By itself it's just not impressive because it doesn't lather. Couple that with a fat lather hog badger knot and I used enough product to shave a medium sized dog. Plenty of slickness and with 3/4's of my reduction on the sides or back of my head I only really missed the visible lather on my face. A fresh blade in keeping with the extra area to work, and more attention paid to head shave pattern (Thanks @Terry) netted less irritation, no nicks to speak of, and about the same 75% happy dome. Face shave was easy, uneventful, and DFS with the fun to use Grand Shave King type top end. Thought I still had a bottle of Cremo balm, but didn't locate it so I used the Nivea Cooling, followed by honey sweet scented Wholly Kaw from The Traveling Box.
    Good Shaves Y'all!

    Good morning, gents!
DSC_0859.JPG Nice but fairly quick 1,5 pass shave. Two small weepers, but that didn't bother me at all.

    Have a great day!
