I have students tomorrow still and will be in the building on Friday. Daughter has school until Monday...

MMmmm cream of broccoli soup!

 

Yup, we get lake effect snow. We don't get as much as Michigan City but we had a few storms this year that a straight 5 mile wide streak of heavy snow came down from the lake and just hammered us. On either side of us... nothing

We also lost a day due to heavy fog and some days for very cold, very negative days with bad windchill factors.

Cream of broccoli soup? Woo Hoo! Thats good stuff! wait.... the good stuff is broccoli and cheese soup... but that has to be good for flu as well.

Evidently forgot to turn on the alarm clock last night, woke up 1/2 hour late so had to rush the shave/shower more than I liked, but I am still ready to go on time.

 

Yeah ,you guys defiantly have it worse from the lake snow. We had 1 snow day.

Broccoli and cheese soup, mmmm, That's what I meant.

Gotta run, pulling on the old steel toed boots even as I type. Everyone have a great day.

Mental note to self: Gotta stop after work and get anniversary card. 21 years today.

Good morning, HYD folk. Lovely morning here; sunny and cool with a few wispy clouds trailing across the sky. Can't hardly believe it's 7am and there've been no posts in the last 2.5 hours. Are we all bitten by the summer bug or just hanging out elsewhere? No matter... we'll party when it's time to party.

Corey - the only advice I can give you is to take some anti-sea sickness meds with you in case. I try to stay away from boats.
