good morning gents,thought i would ride the nickel new sc bus again..this time with paa black label..2+ passes of shaving perfection..bbs was the ticket home.and got there with ease.black splash to finish.awesome.have a fine friday everyone..

 

Thanks, Perry! I am fortunate to work in a district where the kids are respectful and therefore, the job is much easier.

And uh-now.......it's time once again 4....(you guessed it, but I'm going to write it anyway)-your FRIDAY FILES:

-I'm going to sneak in a focus for this month, that being to get as comfortable as I can with a solid loading strategy(time doing it, amount of soap on brush). This is not competition-I'm not saying "slow and steady wins the race", but more "slow and steady is best for me".

-I'm going to stick with a 2-2-2-2-2-2 plan for shaving. Two soap(or foam)days with a particular set of products, then a switch to two of new products, etc. There will thus be more frequent use of my "den" products. And who knows-with an loading plan that hopes for improvement, perhaps the soaps will empty sooner. We'll see about the latter, but it's worth "experimenting" for. (@Trigger, thanks for the keys to your chem lab).

-I might have gone little overboard with the Clubman Talc this morning-had a few sneezes, and I don't have a cold. We live and learn.

This is about as decadent as Danny gets. This old country boy is stretching it and I have never been called Decadent Danny.

This was just a fabulous fat Friday shave and probably one of my best Fat Boy shaves. The Fat Boy likes the Feather. How long will the Feather go? I do not know but it was still smooth this morning. In all fairness of reporting I do have a goatee so I am shaving less real estate. I believe if I had to decide on one soap, I would have to go with the MWF. It is just good stuff and has a nice post shave feel. Finished it off with the newly acquired Irish Chestnut and this country boy is smelling pretty but not as pretty as Jim @jluc.

Looking forward to lunch today. The boss man is feeding us Christmas dinner today……. fried catfish and all of the fixings! Yum! Yum! I’ll post a few pictures so y’all can see what you are missing.

Great shave, Rick. When all else fails, load MORE product. 1) It might actually help. 2) You can rid your den of it sooner.

 

I believe that I am done with challenges, unless I think of something more inventive. After tomorrow's shave, I will talk about the importance of this challenge and what I have learned doing it.

Fine shave this morning with some barbershop features. I went up to 0:40 in load time, working the Central Texas Soaps well, but I could have done a little better in the "go different directions" part.Once again, the second pass produced better success than the first. I believe I just stepped out of a barbershop .

 

very cool Paul..too much of anything..running,shaking,talcing..slow and steady..the wiggly girls will like that....good morning..
