I've seen a few, and they do look great. But the 10049 does the job well and is quite inexpensive.

It really is. As much as i do like my synthetics, i wouldn't want to be without the 49.

He doesn't even quote the WR2 razor prices anymore. I ordered a WR2 safety bar with a 1.05 mm blade gap and the WRH 2 handle. I went with the basic polish at no additional costs as opposed to the the high polish which was +$200 CAD. I might change my mind and go with a Darwin handle when I get the confirmation email and invoice.

    Hembree Not as pretty smelling

Posted this mornings shave late. I tried out the Yaqi slant head this morning on the ATT Calypso handle. I have never used a slant before and every time I look at this thing I want to grab each end and twist it back to straight. I am just not used to looking at a twisted headed razor. Overall it was a good shave but this head has some audible feedback for sure. It is an aggressive head that you need to pay attention to but it gave a nearly BBS on the first test drive. Stirling was on par and I had to bin the Feather after about half way through the shave. I grabbed a used Astra SP I had laying around and finished the shave.. 6 1/2 shaves out of a Feather is not too bad. Take care everyone. 20191214_193102.jpg
