Being a union member myself, I wholeheartedly agree with your statements in that thread...

 

Ahhh.... thought you meant GM whose title is now "banned".... interesting... wonder what went on with that one.

I haven't bothered looking at the GM thread. I have family members who are being affected by that and just don't want to see it.

 

I managed not to step into any exhaust-type threads .... for now anyway......

 

Oh yeah, that thread... Like Matt said, OP as usual.

That is the kind of thread I steer clear of. Politics and religion are taboo for me to discuss, too easy to piss people off and start a war of words with a lot of hurt feelings. I've learned the hard way.

It's hard for me to turn off my opinion-giver sometimes. I just don't make the on job/ off job switch very well every now and then. My work involves making decisions that are guaranteed to make some folks mad. I forget that the secular world doesn't work like that and isn't used to hearing straightforward (un-spun) opinions. oh well.

 

Ah yes, slight rain, birds are chirping, son just finished cutting lawn before rain started, and I'm setting here drinking a big ole glass of Alabama sweet tea!
