I didn't expect much response. I'll end up buying a new one I'd guess. I'd rather give my $$ to someone here who had one they didn't want/need than buy one elsewhere.

Or, do a search on "Barber hone". You probably won't get as good a deal on the bay as you would from someone here or on SRP, but it doesn't hurt to look.

Hi Ryan. Long time no see. Welcome back. Things are slow around here these days but steady.

Matt and Tom I know it's sacrilege, but I actually really enjoyed only shaving every other day. It kept the task fresh, and allowed plenty of time to heal a rough shave if needed. Been doing it that way all my life. As we discussed a few days ago however chopping down two days growth did become a laborious/time consuming chore as well. Anyway, the daily shave is much easier on the blade and my face so it's here to stay. I just miss the break-day is all.

how are the pens treating you.

 

The pens are doing fine. I had the Tuckersharpe worked on and it is great! A pen that doesn't leak is always better. I got a bottle of Noodler's Sequoia ink to use in it. What fun!

 

I feel like a Wookie - lots of groaning and grunting and covered in fur. Need to hit the shower and grab that shave, but am waiting for my dear bride to go first.... :angelic007
