Menthol Mondays!! WooHoo!

That is pretty much it. Very much closer to Shulton Old Spice than the current version, at least it is closer to my bottles of vintage juice.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Proraso Green Shave Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #41 Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Supply V2 razor with a Personna blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

That's good to know. And I'm glad you correctly figured I meant Shulton. Proctor&Gamble's version is "New" Spice. (IMO)

 

Bundubeard Kameelperd’s Kick SS with my cherished 1950s Super Speed, a six day old Derby blade, my Plissoft 26mm Monster, Prep balm, and B&M Arctique. This shave was so cold it felt like the temperature outside which is -15 C with a windchill factor of -30 C. BBS in two glorious passes!

Any colder and I think my face would have disintegrated - this Vanilla X 3 packs a wicked menthol punch that’s easily comparable to the Stirling Glacials or the Kameelperd’s Kick and the African Potato X 3 soaps. The more I worked up the lather the thicker and more frigid it became, the lovely vanilla scent came out, and the blade glide was terrific and so was the postshave feeling. A nice massage with the Prep and a couple of splashes of the Frostbite aftershave and I was good to go. I was enjoying the icy cold lather so much that I did a third pass and I ended up mega-BBS!
