    2.5 passes DFS+ No nicks/cuts/shenanigans. Jason's handle loaded with this TGN beast of a knot.....bowl and face lathered Razorock SS into a very nice slick concoction. This understated example of a Tanifuji Maxfli Gold 100 is a very smooth shaver, no glitz or fritz, just bad boy sharp & gets the job done. One thing that's interesting as the number of straight razors shaves accumulate, is the difference I can feel in blade edges/steel. This steel (Swedish, but formed in Japan) easily 'tree tops' every arm hair it touches exactly like a Feather Pro AC Blade. But...it doesn't feel the least bit edgy or worrisome during use like a new Feather blade. Made of carbon steel and a thin full hollow grind makes it literally sing as it cuts, or rings like a bell if you just tap it with a fingernail. Very cool. Rounded the shave off with PAA's Star Jelly, then followed with matching Razorock AS, Blue Fougère. This AS is one of my top 10....catch whiffs of it in the late afternoon, even with a very early morning shave.

    Several days of pages behind.....last minute holiday orders coming in hot & heavy...busy = good. Will catch up as I can!
