DECember Stirling Bonaparte~~Simpson Emperor 3~~1947 Gillette Super-Speed~~Wilkinson Chromium Tuesdays are my usual empire-expansion day, so what better products to choose than Stirling Bonaparte? And...what better choice of brushes than my Simpson Emperor 3? You may recall that the Stirling products were a generous gift from @Linuxguile Apparently, in addition to his inability to lather MWF, his olfactory senses cannot tolerate the Bonaparte. Sorry, Andrew. Well not only can I lather MWF, I really enjoy this polarizing scent. Laid down a luscious layer of lovely lather and my 1947 Super-Speed worked better than a huge application of Nair. Three passes and the baby is in the house. And...this Emperor is ready to conquer the world!
I smelled Felce Aromatica, Dolomiti, and another one (Alpine or alpeena). The Felce scent was the best of those three.
Dec 17 Good evening, guys! Shavette shave #116 Dovo Shavette Polsilver Iridium DE 1/2 blade (1) Semogue OC Badger Brush Stirling Frankincense & Myrrh SS and AS Nivea ASB not pictured My Semogue brush whipped up a nice lather to prepare my 35 hr stubble. This is the first time that I am using this soap and I have to say this is a nice, clean and fresh scent. However, it doesn't linger during the shave. The soap performance was as expected for Sterling. Did 2 passes with a minor touchup on my right neck for a BBS, irritation free shave. Alas, I got a tiny weep on my left lower corner by my mouth and a tiny weep on my moustache area while doing a fool's pass. I expected to get a weep because this is a brand new blade. Finished with the matching aftershave and the Nivea. Using my trusty Dovo shavette, I am very pleased with this shave. Have a great evening, guys!

December 17th Gillette Red Tip w Nacet (1) Simpson CH2 Synthetic First Canadian Maximo Gomez Thayers Chatillon Lux Bon Vivant AS Yup, one of those days...shave early this morning, first chance to check in near the end of the day. Looks like a long one, but all positive stuff. 3 passes this morning left me quite smooth. Everything worked as it should, which is a good thing with this gear.
