  3. SOTD 17 December, 2019 and Review

A new acquisition... Barrister and Mann's Leviathan in the Excelsior base, with the accompanying Deltus base aftershave splash. Couldn't wait to give this a go, so once I received it in yesterday's mail, I knew this was this morning's shave. Wow. There is little to say but "Wow". A glorious lather and what a scent! My usual winter go-to sandalwood creams and soaps may be sidelined for much of this winter - the scrumptious and rich scent of chocolate, coffee, woods, and leather that Leviathan brings forth are a very difficult to beat combination. Oy! I am still reeling in the aftermath of this shave. A rich, creamy lather that smells divine, protects, and moisturizes. Aftershave to boot - same wonderful scent, and only adds to an already excellent, smooth face feel post shave. To say I love Leviathan is to make a rather significant understatement. PERFECT for a cold, wintry day.

Pre-shave: Hot shower and hot towel
    Razor: Fine Accoutrements Marvel
    Blade: Gillette Nacet (#1)
    Brush: Omega Pro 49
Bowl: Fine Accoutrements Ceramic Lather Bowl
    Soap: Barrister and Mann, Leviathan
Aftershave: Barrister and Mann, Leviathan Splash

  10. Thanks Douglas!. In answer to your Question....it's a very good performer as are most Bulgarian creams. The scent is pretty neutral so occasionally I add my own choice of fragrance oil. Well worth a try.
