Thanks Joe. I actually laid out the Dovo shavette with a fresh blade in it last night but changed my mind when I got up this morning. I'll save the Dovo for the weekend when I have more time. It has been a while so I know I will be rusty. Take care.

I shouldn't have been surprised, but again an excellent shave with today's century old Ever-Ready razor. I think this is known as a "shovel head", someone can correct me if I'm wrong, the hinge for the head is at the front. For me, slightly less smooth than the 33-34 Ever-Ready I last shaved with - I could feel and hear the blade but not overly aggressive. A two pass shave, WTG and XTG, and it was BBS. I'm not sure I'm sold on the Cognac and Cuban Cigars soap. The scent is good but it's not as slick and smooth as most of the other soaps I use. The alum was SILENT again. Finished up with the Floid.

A nice 3 pass shave early this morning. Maybe a little left on the chin, but tough to tell 5 hours later what was left from the shave. The Red Tip is such an easy shaver and the Zenith boar did a fine job whipping up the usual quality SV lather- Maybe a little thin on the 3rd pass, but still excellent.
See Evan- you're not going to have to use a lot of Rhodium on this one.
