    Decadent December!!!

    December 18

    Razor - OCMM
Blade - CVS Carbon Steel SE
    Soap - Stirling Ozark Mountain
Brush - Wolf Whiskers Custom w/ TGN Grade A Silvertip
    Post - Alum

A day off to do some grocery shopping, laying around and, finally, shaving. Third shave on the OCMM with CVS Carbon. Back to the Ozark Mountain to make it a very enjoyable shave with the Wolf along to make sure the lather was perfect. I'm beginning to get very comfortable with these decadent badger brushes this month. I might actually miss them when the new year rolls around. Three passes with a minor nick along the way on my right jawline near my chin. It fired up big time with the alum but didn't bleed. Three shaves with the OCMM and only one nick? Not a bad run.

Remember that anniversary thing I mentioned a month ago then had to back out on? Well, in two days we'll be there. For real this time! Have a great Thursday!!

Impressive Neal ! Usually the Micromatic leaves its mark one way or another. Very effective razor though.

    Good Thursday morning everyone!
    Hope your day goes well!
Founda razor in the mail when I got home last night, eas ready this morning.
Have a wedge blade for it but I prefer s SS blade. The blade was laying flat so no need to desplined.
The first two swipes were bad, got scraped with the blade. On inspection, a corner tip was exposed. Hmmmm....
Went and got a file then quickly smoothed out the corners.
    Continued... THATS BETTER!
On with the shave, and a nice shave as expected. Only 2 passes on the face, 2 passes and some clean up on the gord.

Now that I know, I need to file down the corners of a blade to fit this razor, life is good.
The scrapes on the cheek ain't bad, wont even notice they are there before I hit the road, slight leakage, very minor, but there they are.
    Everything else worked as expected.
After the blade was fixed, the razor did a much better than average job of mowing the whiskers.
    Gotta run.
    Everyone
    Enjoy!

    Good Morning, guys
    Shavette Shave #117
    Dovo Shavette
    Polsilver DE 1/2 Blade (2)
    Omega Pro 49
    Stirling Spice SS and AS
    Nivea ASB not pictured
This is my 3rd and final new soap for today's shave. Stirling Spice has a nice clean scent without being too strong. My Omega did a great job with face lathering. My Dovo shavette mowed down my 36 hr stubble with 2 passes and a lower neck touchup. I am calling it BBS on face and near BBS on neck which gives me an IBSS++. There wasn't any bloodshed nor any irritation. I added the matching aftershave and Nivea to finish this awesome shave. Have a nice day, fellas! I am off to the middle school. 20191218_170801.jpg 20191218_170801.jpg
