Great ‘Cobra’ shave and pic, Clint. I enjoy my AC razors. Love my Vector! Am seriously considering the new Colonial General V2. They’re coming out with a new handle redesign in late January.

Well, maybe patchouli scented soaps. Patchouli has a musky, sweet scent like wet soil. Stirling Glastonbury is a patchouli based soap. Most of my soaps are citrus scented. I have a smoky lavender soap, Razorock Classic (marzipan/almond), Proraso Green (menthol), Bay Rum, and others. If I had to guess, then Razorock Classic, Stirling Glastonbury and Proraso would be safe because the scents aren't overpowering. As for other scents, I would pick a tobacco with vanilla. I would hope other DC members would make other recommendations so that your wife would not be affected by your soap choices.

No, I have to keep working until my last breath or I hit the NYS lottery. If I hit the lottery, then I would move to a warmer state such as NC. I have a nephew and friends that live in the Charlotte burbs.

5 years? Awesome! You have done an amazing job leading this band of travelling minstrels...
Very cool. Forgot about that soap. I was intrigued by it when it came out, but then I moved on to other things (bright lights, ducks, etc...). Is it a fave, Jim? I'm guessing not as we don't see it very often.
Those Stars are seriously the coolest looking GEM style razors. Works of art, visually. Congrats, Terry!
Have fun at the Middle School, Joe. Nice to see you getting some different soaps a run as well.
You are right, Clint, the 'Cobra just looks cool'. I didn't know it was the first AC Safety Razor, to be honest. Was the General right on its heels for timing? I recall the Mongoose being around for quite some time as well.
I started scrolling from the top of your photo, Daniel, as was worried when I saw the knife. I then scrolled further and saw the razor and breathed a sigh of relief for you. Now, if you want to sharpen that bad boy up and bring it out during MAYhem, then that is altogether acceptable...
Love the Heritage brushes for sure, Blair. All of 'em. The John Frum sounds interesting as well. Beautiful pic as always, of course.
Wolfman, MdC and Wolf Whiskers? Yup, that counts as Decadent for sure, Mark!
What great software and hardware today, Joseph! The Seaforth! and Rubberset did fine work together, I am sure.
Wonderful gift for your son, Danny. Sounds like a great deal. Congrats on the soap as well.
    Gentleman! Insert jealous sigh here...
    Very nice, Jeff.
Overall, scent aside, what is your take on the Maol splashes? I find they are absolutely top tier for face feel throughout the day.
Great looking Senator! Your plating work is exceptional, Evan.
While many parts of Canada are very cold this time of year, where Gary lives is not. Right on the coast with a climate that is virtually identical to Seattle with very little snow. Anywhere in the American northern Midwest, the inland North/West or the whole Northeast is quite a bit colder than Vancouver.
You asked about other Woodsy scents. A few Stirlings come to mind- Autumn Glory is really nice in a 'damp woods and earth' kind of way, while Coniferous is straight on Boreal Forest.

Beyond the Whatsis is a favorite. It reminds me of my childhood. My dad worked at a bakery from a week before I was born until he retired. He always came home smelling of the bakery. It doesn't get used often mainly due to the sheer quantity of soaps I have to choose from.

Thanks, Jason! The 3 new Stirling soaps that I have recently tried were quite nice. The good thing about all 3 soaps is that I can use them all year round, despite the fact that Christmas Eve and Frankincense and Myrrh are considered seasonal scents.
