Winner is Gorgo2, he answered the question without answering it. I would have also accepted 1 as an answer. It was never specified where you had to start licking so if your first lick was at the center. Everyone thanks for playing.
This would have won the PIF if Gorgo2 didn't answer first or anyone else the same way. His answer covers this scenario and many more correct answers. I'll give you two 5 pack of blades one BIC and one Astra as a consolation prize. Pm me if you want the blades.
Well, what I said means you could lick all the way to the center, or just lick until you can't stand it any more before you bite it.
@gorgo2 , I'm wondering how you like this razor... I just recently got a similar Star Mod. 100. Over the last week I've been using it, I've loved it.
I've used it, it's as stated in the first post, mildly Tech-like, nothing special really. I much prefer the weightless all aluminum Silver Star razor, which I don't see come up often anymore.
I have not yet seen an aluminum Star Razor. Is the Star all, entirely aluminum? Or like the British Techs where the handle is aluminum and the top is brass or steel? The Silver Star branded one seemed to have come along later on, I wonder if they were U.S. or U.K. made? Also have you seen the WWII Stars that were Bakelite and Zamak, normally in a plastic case? I wonder how they compare...
U.S. made, mid to late 1950s. Silver Star, went with the duridium blades. There's an all brass version that's much more commonly seen. I think yours was made by the same company.
