Was a little bit rushed early this morning, but still got in a very nice 3 pass'er. We got 5 inches of snow last night and I spent about 45 minutes first thing getting the driveway and sidewalks done. Already above freezing now, so I suspect it will be turning to rain and melting. We need the moisture, though, so all is good.
4th day with the Red Tip and Nacet and the hardware did its job. The Cubebe is becoming a favourite scent as well, so a fine start to the day for sure. I'll move on to another non-OC DE this weekend to keep the focus going.
Should be a pretty busy weekend around the Spartan house. It is my son's 13th Birthday on Monday and we will be taking him and a few of his friends to Star Wars tonight, and then a large family dinner on Monday. My inlaws will be here from Sunday through Boxing Day and it'll be busy with Christmas as well, obviously. I will be off work all of next week and then not returning until the following Thursday the 2nd. Looking forward to some quality family time and some quality R&R.
    Have a great day all!

The silo doors are different for sure, but I think the geometry is about the same. Is the Fatboy giving you fits? The weight is different and that can make a difference too.

Also the Superspeed changed its geometry in the early 60's. What are you comparing the fatboy to?

    Razor: Rhodium Gillette 195 Adjustable
    Blade: Gillette 7O'Clock Yellow (2)
    Brush: Omega S-Brush 10019
    PS: Stirling Menthollated Pre-Shave
    SS &AS: Stirling Piacenza

Last day of work for the year... not really working... Great 3 pass shave. Took it easy and didn't worry about BBS.

Loving the latest batch of Stirling samples. Can't wait to try the Frankincense & Myrrh and the Christmas Eve. I'm certain I won't be buying jars of either. I love this time of year, but I'm the guy that hates everything Christmas after January 1st.

Same with me! I have (almost) everything I've ecer wanted. In my just over one year of traditional WetShaving I never thought I'd have so many great shavers. I remember watching ppl use the Vintage Gillettes, Parker Varients, Muhle R41's and say to myself " I want one of them!" . Now it's like I am a hypocrite know if I get any more razors that means I'm going to use the other ones less often and they will get mad at me lol

They got this wrong- we all know you are the real Czar...
Nice shave with the vintage soap, Patrick. Does your daughter have hockey tournaments over the holidays?
OK, now you're just showing off...OF COURSE you have an orange and black software combo to match your orange and black Heritage. Awesome, Jim!
That is a very cool looking handle on that brush, Jeff. Love the resin on the bottom part of the handle; very cool!
TGIF, my friend. That pic is a stunner, as usual.
Polar Express! That theatre sounds fantastic, Blair! We don't have anything like that here, but at least Star Wars will be in 3D...:happy097:
Awesome Reds in the pic, Gary. You have some interesting TFS soaps as well.
Good choice to shave, Danny! Sounds outstanding.
    Great pic, Daniel!
Yes, the Skin Bracer is a classic for sure... so are Pine Sol and Lemon Pledge...:happy102:
I hear you on the 'last day of work', Evan. Had a busy morning of meetings, but am back in the office now and have forwarded all calls direct to voicemail... I figure if it is an emergency, the right people have my cell number...

This weekend is the calm before the storm. I will likely be working every day except Christmas Day through January 3rd.

Corey has been a real pleasure. They did all the tourist things downtown yesterday. We all went out to a nice Cuban dinner last night to celebrate Asha being called in for her first PhD interview. Asha and Corey are hiking to a couple of waterfalls today.

Maya should be in later this afternoon.

Thanks, Jason! I bought the brush through a Charity Event for children’s cancer Rx on the DFS Forum. I’m a much bigger fan of boar brushes. This is the only Badger I own that I like. It has a strong backbone.

I wanted to from the bottom of my heart want to acknowledge the members of this forum. I know I'm not that active in this particular thread but I am active throughout others and knowing that this one gets a lot of people I want everyone to see it. I know I'm not that active in this particular thread but I am active throughout others and knowing that this one gets a lot of people I want everyone to see it When I started shaving a little over a year ago I didn't really know anything . And before I even bought anything I did a lot of homework meaning watching YouTube videos . When I joined this forum in late May early June I got so much free things and I know it's not just about that but the generosity and people being so humble and easily to offer a helping hand shows how great this community really is . Whether it be this forum Facebook groups or in any day life The people here are really great . Being an ex drug addict I wasn't used to people being so nice and open hearted , it made me see the finer things in life. Instead of buying drugs I'm buying Shave soap and Vintage Gillettes! I'm really glad I turned my life around . I have 4 1/2 years cl an off Opiates and almost 2 years clean off (anexity mess). Just wanted to throw that out there and give ppl a small but true side of my personality and dark past. I'm just a 28 year old Kid from NewJersey that's and old soul trying to find his place in this world! =]

Know that feeling. Waiting on a polished Vector since mid September. Looks like January now.....

$99 I thought is a good deal. Most of my razor purchases have been near this price, give or take 20%, most of them BST purchases. Less than a handful have been in the 'honey, maybe you do you need some new shoes' category....:happy102:
