When i was a kid, here wasn't anything else but snow. Now instead of the four seasons we have two, one day of summer and the rest of the year is gray, dark and cold-ish.

Saturday December 21st SOTD

First shave with the Oneblade Hybrid - I got it complementary with reward points in their "blind grab bag" setup. TBH it's balance is really good. A fun error free shave and I have family to entertain and tons of holiday groceries to buy . Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Last shave before Christmas (21.12.2019)

Pre-Shave: Coconut Oil
Razor: Rockwell 6S
Blade: Rockwell / Polsilver Super Iridium On Plate 3
Soap: Phoenix and Beau Spitfire
Brush: RazoRock Barber 24mm
Aftershave: Phoenix and Beau Spitfire

Maaaaan, what a fantastic shave. What a fantastic shaver this Rockwell 6S is...

First of all i washed my face with hot water, so my whiskers could soften up. After 5 minutes of hot water, i applied Coconut Oil as a Pre-Shave. I've heared many good things about it as a Pre-Shave and have not been disapointed.

I let it soak in for about 2 minutes and meanwhile i lathered up this truly wonderful soap. It smells SO good...

For me personally, i found the lather better, richer when applied on Coconut Oil. What surprised me the most, was the glide. Not that this soap hasn't a fantastic glide itself, but wow...that was impressing.

First few strokes with the Rockwell blade were ok, but by far not what i expected or wanted. So, i changed to my trusted Polsilver Super Iridium and man, what a difference a blade makes.

This blade is stunning in this razor. After the first pass has been finished, i lathered up for the second pass (across the grain). Very very nice.

The third pass (against the grain) was out of this world. So gentle and the smoothest pass i've had for a very long time. Only the Karve is in the same area as the Rockwell 6S.

A very impressing razor, which gave me a fantastic shave. A razor, which i would definetly take with me on a lonesome Island.

Very glad i bought it.
