The problem is it doesn't update you on everything.

I never know when someone has posted in the TSD groupies page.

I had no idea Justin had posted a review on the store's review page. I can't even get to the store's page without clicking on several different links.

I can see how that would be frustrating.

haha...quit beating yourself up over it, really...

There is and there isn't....its weird and took some getting used to...

go figure, I miss the fun...

Yeah, that's one of my bigger complaints. But, then think of some of the groups/pages that would have to email thousands upon thousands of people every time someone posted on a wall....

Good evening everyone. Just got out of a shower. After reading a thread across the way at B&B, I decided to experiment with cold water shaving. I mean seriously, I'm bored and have a few days to let my face recover before having to go out in public. Expectations? Low. Results? Surprising! This is going to merit continued experimentation.

TYVM :D Blades? I'm only working on one, and it's going slow. I was going to work on it today, but got hit last night with a bunch of stuff to do today. No "official" plans for tomorrow, so the plan is to make a lot of headway on it tomorrow. With having the company all last week, I really couldn't get to it... the little bit I did, when I sent you the pic, I felt guilty that I was ignoring them....
Have you read my Anti-Scuttle experiment? Not for me, I can tell you that...

Interesting. I got a surprisingly smooth shave. I didn't risk doing anything too crazy, just two passes with the grain and one pass across the grain. Three things stand out: 1. The blade felt a lot smoother. 2. There is absolutely zero irritation. 3. My skin feels a lot tighter. I just realized I skipped the aftershave without thinking about it. I think I was too busy feeling out my face for any potential problems.

I'm going to give it another go the next few days with a fresh blade, but the same razor and cream to see how things go. Since I'm a shower shaver, it adds a nice wake-me-up to my mornings. Perfect timing for the upcoming blistering summer.

Ah... I knew you were still working on the W&B, but I thought something was mentioned once about possible sanding up the others some more. Had to go back to look at the e-mails. OK, you never said you were doing that....

Matt, I know you have had company and the car show and a 4K celebration and a birthday... I was just yanking your chain about them. I am in no rush.

I used to cold water shave a long time ago when I cartridge shaved...well, not cold water, but luke-cool... Of course, I never knew about any sort of prep, either. I'd wake up, splash water on my face, squirt foam or gel out of the can and rub it on my face, shave, then shower.... No wonder I hated it! No irritation, sure, I can believe that, but I have a hard time believing that the shave was any closer. And you shouldn't be getting any irritation now, before you tried the cold water shave, or you're doing something wrong... just my $0.02.... :D

Oh, I know, but I just like to keep the communication open... I hate misunderstandings, and in this manner (email, PM, etc..), it's ripe for possible confusion.... Plus, I really do want to get it done and off to you so I can get an opinion on it... (and maybe a sale?? :D)

It's amazing how brutish we were when cartridge shaving. God knows I've dry shaved a few times, and pushed a blade hard into the skin, and shaved for weeks on one crappy cartridge. It's amazing my face is in one piece after all these years.

And there's one place on my neck that gets irritation regardless. It's a goofy little curve that just doesn't shave well with the straight line of a razor. It's an acceptable bit of itch that is easily quelled with witch hazel/after shave. That spot is itch free. Yay! :D

Matt, looking at your car pics and then got side tracked by the Lomax kit car.
