Vintage 1965 Gillette “Slim” Adjustable (K-1)Razor & Gillette Blades off Ebay. It should be here after Christmas.

Edit for the addition of thought.

I last used a DE razor somewhere awfully close to 1965, so I guess a person could intimate that some kind of extra influence could be at play here! Makes for a good thought in either case!

 

Didn't know if this was going to go high or not. Better than I thought as I was the only bidder. English Ever-Ready case with flip up blade banks. There is a very small chip on one side of the cover, but it doesn't matter............

Finally found a nice Red Tip in my birth year/month (C4) at a decent price. And a Schick G cardboard box, cheap....................

 

After getting some holiday gift cards and cash I bought from Amazon D.R. Harris Sandalwood shave soap in wooden bowl and matching aftershave and Antiga Barbearia De Bairro Principe aftershave. On eBay I bought 100 Zorrik blades as well as a 1951 Gillette Black Tip Super Speed and a Neillite Four Hundred brown Bakelite razors. Here’s a couple photos of the vintage razors I bought. The Black Tip I got for a steal I feel for $17 and change after shipping and taxes.
