    I did just a quick shave with my flare tip and goo a few hours ago. I had to run to the grocery store early in the morning to get pretty much all i still needed for christmas. I probably forgot half the stuff i had to buy, but i did grab a bottle of Cien X-Bolt AS, which is supposedly a clone of Boss Bottled. The scent is great straight out of the bottle, but i haven't tried it on my face yet.

    Thanks, Jim! The foam is a decent choice for quick shaves. Not as slick as soap, but works well enough, for me.
    Tomorrow i'll have to shave with something else, because i miss using my brushes. :D

    This was yesterday's shave. No opportunity until now to post.
    Second use of the newly-honed Boker, and channeling Obi-Wan @Trigger :yoda I am curious how long I can
    "maintain" an edge with only a CrOx linen strop and leather. :signs002:
    The Eufros tobacco is like nothing else in my den. The soap base always creates a lovely lather.
    Glen told me he doesn't care for these scales, but I think they look just like...well, scales.
    three passes and the cheeks and jaw were smooth and the lower neck was acceptable.
    The aftershave balm is extremely moisturizing and the scent lasts most of the day.
    I'll be back later reporting on today's shave.    ​

    Good morning!

    Terrific shave to start the day! Four passes for near BBS. Light tickle from the alum.

    Yes, I did a fourth pass. Plenty of lather for it and I was really enjoying everything about the shave. The Aluminum Karve did a wonderful job.
