New to being old... old hat at being awesome. I works out.

 

My wife is in Albuquerque, and she said she found a Body Shop there and wondered if I wanted anything from there. I'm really torn since all I seem to find are conflicting or old reviews about the shave cream and I want to order more stuff from Joanne. I'd like to get both...but for the price of the tub of macca root I could get 2 of Joanne's creams. And so far her cream has been the best I've used.

Hmmm....maybe I just answered my own question.

 

Sorry Bram, can't help you with the Body Shop cream as I've never used it.

 

I'm starting to think I'll go with Joanne's. It looks like I'll go through hers faster but the shea butter makes it feel so nice.

BTW...I found out that my dogs are better smoke alarms then a real smoke detector. I ended up having a smoldering fire in my garage today...couldn't tell from inside the house except the puppies were going all kinds of crazy around the garage door. No damage done and the puppies got extra treats tonight. :happy108

Right now we have 3 dogs and we got the 3rd one not too long after we moved into our first house. I was away helping my mother with some personal issues and my wife was getting ready to drive the 6 hours to pick me up. She ended up getting hit by a guy in town and so she could make the drive. That night someone tried to break into the house. The 2 dogs (Corgi and a Ger Shep/Husky/Border Collie) hammered the front door and scared the guy off. But my wife was scared to sleep at night after that. We got Jack (Rottweiler/Lab/Heeler) from the same woman that was fostering our other mixed dog, I thought he was "cute". He had been abused by men before and it took him about 2 weeks for him to warm up to me. But he is a real protector. Between the 2 Big Black Dogs that we have I think we have a pretty good home protection. And they are all spoiled rotten. We always bring home dogie bags anytime we go out to eat since they are so good. Funny thing is that my wife is away for training to be a PetSmart Dog trainer right now. :happy102

 

Gelf, I've got some of The Body Shop cream and would be happy to send you out a sample. IMHO, JoAnna's is hard stuff to beat though. Her scent is better and the performance is there, as you well know.

 

At least she will have some to practice her new skills on.

I went ahead and tried her Lavender and Tea Tree Soap tonight just as a test. I was amazed. But it didn't seems as good as the cream was for me. I'm thinking the shea butter is what made it feel so good to me, but that is just a guess.

I also got my wife to agree to let me whip up some lather for her next time she shaves.

 

WTG! Once she tries real lather maybe she will understand why we just gotta have it!

morning folks. my daughter threw a mega tantrum this morning and it was pretty funny. she's 11 months old and got ahold of a toy she's not supposed to have. the wife took it away and the daughter proceeded to flip out.

it's the first true tantrum she's thrown, to my knowledge. first in a line of many...

 

morning everybody. I attempted to watch 2001 space odyssey last night but it is a painfully slow movie.

Yes it is. It is more of a mental artsy piece than an action movie.

Here it is 9:50 and I am just getting to post my shave of the day. So far, summer vacation is nice....

No love for 2001? Wow. It's one of my favorites. Although, I will admit, you have to be in the right mood for it.
