On a completely unrelated note, just watched Quantum of Solace last night.

I don't know what it's detractors were talking about... it was awesome. I'm even warming up to a different guy playing Felix. There was a nice little nod to Goldfinger, the true follow-up story to Casino Royale. I thought it a nice touch.

 

I would question that advice... however as it works....

it was simple, wasn't it? kind of a smack yer head simple after hovering around inside the comic for so long....

yeah, QOS was pretty good, I thought. The main thing about it that I agreed with was it's Bourne feel to it - I haven't seen the Bourne movies, but based on the trailers for them I could get a feel for what they were like, and QOS certainly had that feel, I actually kinda liked it

Or go with the StrongBad method of finding hidden goodies: Hit the tab button until you stumble on something questionable.

 

I tell ya what. I'm out for a week and this thread logs about 80 pages... I'm back, and I'm in full swing, and post frequency drops to about 2 per hour... I can't win.

Are you telling me that the guys at NASA rely on tabbing with luck for all of their projects?

 

I'm working on a post for gentlemanbeggar.wordpress.com in which I will be suggesting 100+ movies to watch at home instead of going to the pictures. I was just going to do 100, but I couldn't narrow it down. Plus, when you consider "the complete set" of movies like Rocky, Star Wars, Star Trek, and James Bond, it doesn't take long for the list to expand quickly. So what I'm doing is making a seperate section for those movies that are part of a set.

Right now, the list is at around 110. I might split the post up into several posts, and delve a little into what makes each movie a fun viewing. What do you guys think?
