    Sunday shave Dec 22-2019 and it will be a Schick shave with my brought back to life E2 that was purchased in rough shape from a remote Antique shop. This razor is one of the best shavers Schick ever designed IMO for getting a close shave with a light razor. It is nimble in the hand to use, easy to clean and mid upper range IMO. What is there not to like about a E2?

    Razor : Schick E2 injector Canadian variant - MFG 1930's & 40's
    Blade : Personna injector (6)
    Soap : Razorock Lavender
    Brush : Yaqi Timber wolf 24 mm
    Pre shave : Brush wash the face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear aloe Vera gel on the beard area.
    Post shave : Alum + cold water rinse
    Post shave : Razorock King Louis Lavender with witch Hazel + Nivea balm
    Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + alum indicated some minor irritation + 3 blemish weepers = [​IMG]

    I gave myself a pre Xmas treat by using a fresh blade. Those lucky enough to have tried one of these Dutch blades will know there is only one
    outcome - Smooth and a rather face stroking finish.

    My prep was just a cold water rinse. The TSD Iced Lime Shave Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #199 Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Schick M2 Adjustable razor with a Schick Proline blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Must be Monday. Gem Junior “The Parade”, Gem PTFE (6), vintage Old Spice lathered with a horsehair knot in my ‘chisel’ handle, and a splash of Florida Water.

    Good morning this MMMonday Dec 23-19, Merry Christmas to all and the best in the New year that is so close.

    Razor : ( Kampfe brothers) Star bar model # 4 - MFG 1919
    Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (2)
    Soap : Razorock Irish Country side
    Brush : Yaqi rainbow brown whiskers 26 mm
    Preshave : Brush wash the face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
    Post shave : Razorock XXX with witch Hazel + Nivea balm for winter cold months.
    Results : CCS,DFS,BBs + some irritation + 1 blemish weeper from previous shave= [​IMG]

    Just a little cleanup shave tonight with the Star version of the Gem Jr. Parade and a 3rd flip Gem SS blade. This is a great little razor. Tabac on a high loft RazoRock boar for lather. And a splash of witch hazel and some proraso white cream finished things off.

    Just what I wanted a no fuss shave, good Razor/ Blade/Soap - no problems.Now have to get round to prepping Turkey and other bits. We are having our main meal tonight.Looking forward to trying this Heritage breed bird:)
