What Manly Things Did You Do Today?

My brother's works in electronic security .... they literally shred and smelt all hard drives and memory devices.

 

My adventures in bathroom repair continue. The new cabinet/sink/countertop got delivered this morning. (Quite promptly- that’s why I like dealing with local businesses.). So, over the course of the day, I have spackled & sanded the wall, where the backsplash used to be, mounted & caulked the sink and now I have begun the painting.

The walls are painted in a high gloss paint, which I never wanted, but couldn’t talk my husband out of. So I have primed with a flat primer, and will later paint over it with the gloss paint which, (thanks to the color matching service at Lowe’s) I could get some more of.

 

I need a nap just reading about all that.

 

For me, at this time, the question is...What manly thing WILL I be doing today? Off to a workout shortly.

I made the bed as always. There is no one else here, so I have no choice.

 

Sharpen knives like a girl? How does one do that?

 

Maybe he uses an emery board? LOL

 

Electric sharpener instead of stones. He calls what I do cheating.

 

No sir! No cameras allowed until the solvent removes the polish

 

Had my gall bladder removed this morning. Uncomfortable right now

 

I put plywood down in my attic so we would have a space to store things. It would have been a simple job, but I had to brace between the joists and chisel out for wires.
Took 3 days of work (after working all day at my job) but it's all done now, and life will be much easier!

 

Believe me, I know what you're talking about ..... AKA ...... been there done that.

 

But Why?
