Sorry to hear about the weight gain. I have been slowly sliding up as well. I did real good last year getting back into shape, but have been sliding since the fall. I am going to have to go back to the older posts where Leon was asking and talking about the brushes. I got the impression that he is directly involved meaning purchasing through Lee (who sells them as well) would still help Leon. However, that may not be the case at all...

Yeah, it's somewhere in transit right now, I'm hoping it will be there when I get home. I know Tieste loves it, along with the 2000 boar. About 2 years ago I started working out and eating right - not dieting, but making smarter choices....I lost about 40 pounds and felt great - change in job and routine/personnel and I fell off the wagon - hard.... I've since put it all back on. Even though I knew it, it was like I was in denial - just ignore it and maybe it will disappear... :happy102 Ignoring it is what brought it all back.... I think today I hit the wall, though. Hopefully it will last enough to make a habit out of it again... haha...didn't see it until I quoted, although white works well too for that But what I was going to say, was that movie would go well with Kevin's link in another thread about switching hands.......

Just now got around to the daily shave. I figured that there wasn't any sense in showering and all until I was finished with daughter's room for the day. Everything was going well, I finished the shave, did a warm water rinse. I think started cleaning up. I loosened the cap on the razor to rinse it off, and the did my cold water rinse and saw a bit of stubble I missed on pass 3. No problem, one quick stroke should get that. OW!!!!!!! I can't believe that I made that mistake. :ashamed001 and to think, I was doing DE for a few days to heal from several straight days of straight shaving. Maybe I need to switch back to straights.
Thanks for sharing that with us, Justin - maybe we'll avoid the same mistake. Are you okay? One thing about the straight - it inspires continuous caution.
Yeah I can't believe I did that after all of the times I have warned newbies to make sure the silo doors are closed properly or the cap is tightened before shaving. I guess I got out of the habit! I realized what I had done as soon as the blade hit my skin, so I didn't take a long stroke. Its just a line where the blade made a nice slice. I am fine and the blood stopped fairly quickly. But it was right under my nose and you know how the slightest scrape stings like crazy there...
