    Christmas Shave

    Razor: Rex Ambassador
    Blade: Polsilver (1)
    Brush: Simpson X3 Best Badger (Featuring that new badger smell)
    PS: Proraso Green
    SS & AS: Stirling Frankinsence & Myrrh

    Meh, the RA is a lot heavier than I am use to. I think I will like it, but the shave wasn't very comfortable. 3 pass with so so results but too many variables changed to really know what happened.

    The RA is cool to look at. I'm not use to razors which are made this well. Hopefully I get it dialed in. I really want to like it. As with last time, I like the F & M more than I thought I would. Nostalgic scent for me.

    The Fatboy restoration went well. My goal was to do the finest restoration I have done to date. I have to say I am pleased with the results. I plated it in copper and then polished it to a high shine before cleaning and plating in nickel.

    In other news, we now have a very shiny kitchen spoon I grabbed because I couldn't find mine. MrsEE was MAD because it had a hazy film on it when I brought it back, so I took it back out to my bench and polished it to a high shine. Now we have a drawer full of normal stainless silverware and one mirror finish spoon. Really hoping I don't have to polish the whole set to match.
