    Not sure of the XXX. Gold scent is stronger than XXX, also a different base.
    Could be though, the Gold base works great here.

    Sounds like a good shave anyways, your in the right place for a 30 day rule to make your REX behave like a nice looking razor should Evan!

    Had enough time between the frenzy of the morning and the busyness of getting food prepared to have a relaxing 3 passer. Picked ET Tu for Xmas as I will be beside SWMBO for most of the day and she really likes it :).
    A pretty good shave, but I have come to realize that even a quality Rapira blade such as this one is notch below all the Russian Gillettes for me. It worked well, but just isn’t as smooth ‘pour moi’.
    Allow me to join the chorus of well-wishers on here. So many of you have become an important part of my daily routine and I value our interactions on here immensely. I trust you all get from the holidays exactly what you require.

    That Blackland razor is a beaut, Jim! I don’t recall seeing the Space Nog before, though.
    I don’t know if ‘simple’ is ever an accurate description of your shave gear, Gary! Looks great.
