Why that's precisely what I meant!

No, but seriously, I'm sorry. I thought everyone in here knew about ONS by now, as much [slash]whoring out of my own product[/slash] self promotion as I do around here for it.

This is what I meant: http://onenutshy.wordpress.com
  2. I haven't tried the super iridiums yet, I think I got some from you actually, but have yet to try them...I will put it next in rotation when this feather has run its course
  3. ummm, okay.....

  4. yeah too late. Actually I am happy with my brushes. I was looking at the cheap boar semogue though... Just cuz I wanted to see what the fuss was about... And I want one good straight. I have a modified DA and a cheap unmarked United States Razor. I odn't think that is an AD I will really get into either. But then again a year ago, I would have been shocked to own one razor, let alone dozens of them!

Sorry to hear about your issues... But dude, some things are better left private.

The ones Bong sent weren't bad. They were nice and sharp but went dull fast. Just like feathers and 7 O'Clock sharps!
  5. Bong you still in here?

    Justin the Tech arrived today.
  6. for a minute I am.
  7. Will you be on tonight?
  8. Most likely yes. Got some Pen Q's for me??
  9. No, going to take a nap now. I'll discuss that injector with you tonight.
  10. Good to know..

The Pam strop just arrived today.. Probably ought to come up with something better to call it...

  14. So mad at myself today....That Probak that i posted in my razor ID help thread...well i was going to test drive that puppy today, all excited and everything, and i ended up dropping it and it proceeded to bounce off container top onto the tile floor....snapped the thread from the head to the handle right off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  15. wow, that really blows dude....
  16. another fine example of why proper context is sooo important.... :D
  17. Hi All,

One more day at home nursing this *&^%$#@! flu. I can almost breathe again and hope to get back to work tomorrow. 10 days of the creeping crud is more than enough!

On an up note, I had a great shave this morning with some KMF Key Lime that I found at a local (Moscow) co-op. Doesn't smell like anything, but is incredible shave cream. I was quite surprised at how much I liked it. 3 passes (XTG, XTG, ATG) with the third shave on a 7 o'clock black and no tugging, no irritation, no nicks or weepers. Cool beans...

That's one very tempting razor. Do you have the straight version (Artist Club) too? I haven't shaved with an injector since high school.

Justin, two words: light tent. Here's what I use (although I kept the bottom in mine. It cost me zero dollars and works really well:

That's white tissue paper over the openings in the box. A couple of work lamps with 150W bulbs will provide adequate light. If you want to get really fancy, cut a piece of white poster board to fit inside the back and bottom of the box on a curve. You'll have an infinite backdrop.

That describes us really, really well.

That's one nice looking hunk o' leather!

    That just bites... sorry Kevin!:sad029

  19. HUh? I mean real nice and smooth shaving action.. you feel like you aren't cutting anything and the razor is just gliding. Wait a moment, that is all that it is doing. I tried several angles, just couldn't get this thing to cut. Huh... the blade is dull as can be. After all you hear about Pella blades, my first Pella injector blade is a dud. Oh well, I finished up (OK fullly shaved with another razor). And loaded a new blade into the injector. Maybe I will try it again tomorrow.

And yes, I am now inspecting the original blade. It won't cut through a thin piece of plastic bag.

    Sorry to hear that!
  20. Yup, I have tried something like that. However, when all I had available were CF bulbs, it just didn't do well. Will try again someday after I think to buy some lamps to work with it.
