Good Thursday morning to everyone!
Got up early to claim king of the shower before the rush.
Using the Razorock Blue Label soap, none of these soaps are strong scented. For those who like subdued aromas, theses are just that. The Andrew brush did a fine job of lathering, but the synthetic brushes seem to do it on What The Puck bases.
Now to the real stuff, the shiny blade holder thingy. Yesterday was Yaqi slant trial, and that's a real winner paired with a new Feather Blade. Today was is a Yaqi Grill OC head. Found it while looking around their site. The shaving profile is rated a 9-10 on a scale of 1-10. Well that screamed "this buds for you", in the cart it went. Now it doesn't look like any other razor I own, that's nice. I'll describe it as pipe decor, chromed. My Razorock DE-1 handle felt good with it screwed on the end of it. A new Feather Blade, ready to rock.
The first pass was good, adjusting the head (riding the cap) to get just the right amount of blade, another walk on the wild side. I can compare it to an R41, but comfortable, no pulling. The shave, close, smooth! I almost got myself, no blood, just a small red mark on the neck. A kindly reminder that this razor is the real deal, pay attention! The second pass on the face took it home. The head shave is as good as any, 2 passes, the wife will aprove.

For those who like or need a razor that's a cut above and doesn't mind it looking like it was built for battle, this should do the trick. Slightly heavier than I like for the head, but good ballance with that handle attached. But the price was right.
All
Enjoy!
