A second surprise haul for me today. A coworker was antiquing and gifted me a nice cased 48-51 aristocrat.

Super nice gesture just to see me smile.

 

2 items in today's mail- can't wait to try the sandalwood scent and see what kind of lather I can whip up with the Proraso red, my first product of theirs; and I couldn't pass up the sale price on the Oneblade Core. The Cool Wave AS was a surprise find at a local pharmacy. I love the scent of Gillette sensitive skin AS balm, and this should complement that well. Bonus points for the glass bottle.

 

Shave related Christmas haul. In the first picture is my gifts from my East Coast Wet Shavers Secret Santa. I got from my SS K Shave Worx Dark Horse and Oz Shaving Co Tik-Tok soaps and aftershaves. From my mother I got Razorock Blue Barbershop aftershave, vintage Avon Island Lime AS, modern day Mesmerize cologne by Avon, Wholly Kaw Merchant Of Tobacco soap, B&M Seville AS, a 1955 Gillette Diplomat with the case, Simpsons Duke 3 synthetic shave brush and 3 shirts from PAA. A great way to start Christmas Day. I just want to say thank you to my ECWS secret Santa as well as my mother for the lovely gifts; I truly appreciate it.

Thursday mail call is a 1951 Gillette black tip Super Speed razor.

 

First haul after Christmas and one I've been waiting for. A case for my English Ever-Ready 1912, and a pretty unique one it is. The blade banks are attached to the case and flip up. There is a real small chip on the left side of the cover, first pic next to the Alt key, but it's the only case I've seen like this for the razor. I also got it at a good price, just over $14.00 shipped, as I was the only bidder. Second pic with the razor in it's new home and letters filled in better with some gold paint..............
