A most excellent shave today, returning to the Central Texas Soaps Weekend Rodeo(soap&A.S.). Two healthy passes, shaved right over yesterday's cut without an issue, loaded well once again, continued to work the neck in a "Y" position(north-south on the angles of the Y, south-north up the middle straight line). I smell like I am inside a leather store .
And NOW....it's time once again 4...your FRIDAY FILES-last edition of 2019: -After the purchase of the 2020 Stoylin Tony Awards Best In Show choice, in January, I'm going to work with what I have for a couple months. For me, it's a lot. Others may look into my den and say "That's IT?", as it ain't exactly a clone of Pasteur's Pharmacy(a gold mine of shave-related products). -I'm so glad I found a way to reduce my neck hairs! Having so many was ridiculous. -I feel comfortable using the same shave plan just two days in a row, then moving to a new one. -I need to reduce the amount of shaves where I get cuts/weepers. Especially right at the beginning of the shave, which throws me off stride for the entire rest of the shave. HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM THE FILES
Nice shave, Jim! Is it possible that you may have slightly changed the angle and that is why you are getting the alum feedback?
Thank you, Joe! It's very possible that I lost my touch with the Dart. I may have to break down and do a focus with it. I have a couple of new razors on the way that I'll want to try out before I commit to a focus.
Nice shave Neal! Beautiful brush. Wonderful setup, Keith! Beautiful photo and shave, Jim! Nice setup and WOW that food looks incredible! Great picture, Clint! I like the looks of the Evo. Beautiful brush, Mark! Wonderful photo.
The last time I did that I saw a lot of white-ness. I'm not THAT old, and after I began to clone Sants Claus, off it came. I was expecting the red color I had in previous mustaches.
SOTD 12/27/19 I enjoyed a very relaxing shave on this 27th day of Decadent December. My Gem MMCF sliced through face and noggin whiskers with no hesitation. Proraso shave cream is always a steady performer for me, but doesn’t measure up to my favorite MWF. Since I am traveling, I missed my regular software kit, but still ended up with a decent DFS. I feel clean and refreshed! RAZOR: Gem Clog Pruf BLADE: Pella SS PTFE PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with PAA’s Charcoal-Menthol Cube Preshave Soap BRUSH: WCS Best Badger CREAM : Proraso Green POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with Glyce Glycerin soap followed by Thayers Lavender WH and finished with Old Spice Fresh Lime

I don't need to eat for a few months. Put up a new shelf in the bathroom.
Wonderful shave, Jeff! The shelf looks great, Doug! Nice shave, and I'm certainly with you as far as not needing to eat for a while!
